Q. Do you specialize in working with sellers or buyers?
A. I have extensive experience working with both sellers and buyers. I have been awarded the Seller Representative Specialist (SRS™) designation, the premier seller agency designation in the country. The SRS™ is conferred by the Real Estate Business Institute (REBI) and is an official credential of the National Association of REALTORS. Additionally, I have earned the Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) certification from the National Association of REALTORS. Both of these designations further elevate my level of expertise in working with sellers and set me apart from other agents who have not achieved these designations.
Additionally, for a portion of my real estate career, I was part of an elite group of private real estate agents assisting hundreds of out-of-state buyers in realizing their dreams of owning real estate in Utah. I continually received very high satisfaction ratings from my clients due to my consistent and honest communication, my attention to detail, my professionalism, and my ability to listen and do my job at a level that exceeded their expectations. As these clients were not familiar with Utah, my knowledge of the market, the product, and Utah as a whole was invaluable to them, and greatly appreciated.
Q. What other credentials/experience do you have that would add value to you and set you apart from other real estate agents?
A. I have a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and an undergraduate degree in Business with a minor in Economics. Throughout my career, I have served in executive management and leadership positions, all requiring expert levels of: negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and the ability to effectively interact with all personality types with a very high level of professionalism. I utilize every one of those acquired skills in every real estate transaction I do.
Born and raised in rural Idaho, Mavis began to call the Wasatch Front home more than 30 years ago. Being an outdoor enthusiast (and country girl at heart), Mavis loves hiking the great trails in Utah, gardening and hitting the local farmer’s markets. Other interests include stock and investment evaluation, stock trading and traveling.
